Customers often say that they don’t want to make too big a deal of their downstairs cloakroom because it is such a small room.

We do however always point out that this is the toilet that most visitors to the house are most likely to use, so sometimes it’s worth just spending a little more to give it the mini “Wow” factor. Often all that is required is a simple WC, basin and somewhere to hang a towel.

Have a look at these before and after pictures of a very small downstairs toilet – the contrasting tile, in the same colour and same range as the main wall tile worked beautifully. Overrall, a great result in a very small space, but one that everyone comments on.
